*NEW* Visual FX Artist - Budapest

As VFX artist in our Budapest studio, you’ll get the opportunity to create a wide range of visual effects for both characters, props and environment to make sure that every interaction in the game world is a memorable and eye-catching experience. Day to day, you will be working with designers and artists and merge kickass visuals with gameplay.

You will be joining the studio at an exciting time, as we scale up to develop an ambitious and ground-breaking open-world game. The role brings with it great scope for career growth and the satisfaction of making a significant personal contribution to a high-profile project.

  • Creation of handcrafted and procedural visual effects to be used in real-time game assets
  • Technical setup, integration, and troubleshooting of VFX in a real-time game engine
  • Collaborate effectively with game designers to ensure timely completion of VFX assets.
  • Maintain quality and consistency across your work to meet objectives, quality bar, and schedule


  • Expert in the creation of consistently stunning and high quality FX in DCC applications and in-game FX systems
  • Deep experience with current FX tools such as Fume FX, Houdini and Photoshop
  • Experience with fluid simulations
  • Working knowledge of rendering engines
  • Game design awareness
  • At least one shipped AAA game
  • Strong traditional art skills
  • Comfortable to work with production staff to manage personal deliverables, ensuring they meet the defined objectives, defined quality bar, and schedule
  • Effective communication skills with the capability to successfully work across multiple teams
  • Strong English skills (written as well as verbal)
